Mixed Media & Collage

My more recent work is intuitive abstract art with a stronger focus on process. I incorporate a variety of painting, drawing and printmaking techniques to create layered works of art. It is an exploration of line, shape, color and texture using cropped, stylized and abstract imagery inspired by the natural world. I see collage and mixed media as a synthesis of various parts to create a whole, with each fragment or medium working in unison to create a harmonious composition.
